Famous throughout the steel industry for its outstanding quality and efficiency, the Sakai Works, located in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, is Nisshin Steel's main producer of cold-rolled and coated steel sheet. A high-precision six-high four-stand tandem cold-rolling mill and the No. 2 continuous pickling line were linked in 1989, while the wide array of the facilities' coating equipment features a continuous galvanizing line, a continuous aluminizing line, and two newly developed continuous galvanizing and aluminizing lines. The Sakai Works also operates world-class electrolytic galvanizing lines and an advanced continuous coating line.
